At our January meeting, we continued looking at CSS Flexbox, a proposed set of properties for defining the layout of a page. We reviewed the CSS box model, which is the foundation of layouts. We then watched third video on Flexbox widths, heights and layout, having watched the first two videos last month on Flexbox basics and columns and rows.
We then looked at another version of the example used in the video. This example was posted at CodePen and used nth-child to style the individual boxes instead of chaining classes together.
We talked a little about CodePen, and we will follow up more on this useful tool next month.
For those who were interested in the Fences utility that I use to organize the icons on my desktop, this program is available from Stardock.
