There are only 10 types of people in the world — those who understand binary, and those who don’t.
With that truism in mind, this month we will take a departure from our usual topics and delve more into the binary world. Member Jerry Greene will lead the first of two meetings on the topic “Dev Tools for Building Reports.”
Over the next two meetings, we will discuss installing and using MySQL Workbench, XDEBUG, and NetBeans, as Jerry used them on a recent project. We will see some light data modeling, some database creation and setup, a database connection, and other interesting steps. We will them move on to installing and configuring NetBeans, an integrated development environment (IDE), and XDEBUG. We then will put them together to review the two reports and one listing Jerry created for his project.
At the end, we will all be part of that select group of 10.
