The next meeting of the PACS Web Design Special Interest Group will be this Saturday, January 18, in the 9-10 hour. Our topic this month will be “Tiles and Styles.”
We will continue working on the example of a tiled navigation menu that was posted at //line25.com/tutorials/how-to-create-a-trendy-flat-style-nav-menu-in-css. It has a number of interesting features, using for instance Google fonts, CSS positioning, a CSS sprite, and the nth-child selector. This month we will continue where we left off in December and talk about using the float property for positioning and the overflow property, something we haven’t covered before.
